Wine Stained Lips for Fall

Holaaa babes. I'm currently curled up on my couch watching some seriously trashy tv, glass of vino in hand. I'm not a big drinker, but I've become obsessed with this wine from Peju. It's a delicious red and white blend you serve chilled - truly revolutionary.

Anyway.

What I'm really here to talk about tonight is this amazing fall look I've been obsessed with lately. It's an exciting time for my family over at Avon - they're the official beauty sponsor of Project Runway!

Project Runway holds a special place in my heart. I haven't spent a ton of time recapping my college life on the blog - but my path wasn't entirely traditional. I actually started off at one university majoring in communications and struggled so hard with hating my classes. Every night I watched Project Runway and sketched designs - the show made me realize I wanted to do something creative and relating to style.

When I found out Avon was teaming up with one of my all time favorite shows I just about lost my shit.

Avon has been meticulously detailing all of the beauty looks from the latest season of Project Runway on their website. I decided to pause for the cause and try to recreate one of these looks myself.

I opted for a beautiful wine stained lip look because, ya know, I'm a recent wine convert.

What I love about this look most is that it's simple yet impactful. I'm all about high impact with minimal effort.  I also love that these shades of lipstick are universal. The look was primarily featured on a dark skin model, but here I am as white as a ghost and able to pull of the same shade.

★ Step 1 - love the skin you're in

Start with your usual skin routine. I kept my skin look fairly simple. I opted for a CC cream and a neutral cream blush.

★ Step 2 - all about eyes

Avon's look includes two brown based eyeshadows and an eyeliner. The shades are absolutely gorgeous. I kept my version of the look super simple and skipped the shadow and liner, opting for a thick coat of mascara instead.

★ Step 3 - wine stained lips

My favorite part of this look are the bold lips. I used Avon's chocolate lip liner and followed up with two different shades of their True Color Lipstick. Mmm you can practically taste the vino.

Boom. Three steps. Nailed it.

I really have missed a romantic dark lip. I've been sad to see the summer go by so quickly, but am fully embracing fall makeup.

I'm also so excited to continue to watch this season of Project Runway to catch not only the designs, but also all the beauty looks. Inspiration overload.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a bottle of wine I need to attend to...
