Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Patch

It’s been the hottest of seconds since I last posted – I hate it! The last month has been absolutely insane and my blog time has seriously suffered. So massive apologies to all my bagel babes out there that have clearly been waiting day and night for another one of my posts.

But back to reality.

It’s every blonde girl’s favorite time of year. It’s fall, y’all. And I was so ready to hit the pumpkin patch despite the California heat.

KB is always such a good sport and takes me to pick my pumpkins the old fashioned way every year. I have a serious vendetta against grocery store pumpkins. My family always picked pumpkins from a patch and cut down their own tree at Christmas each year, so I like to celebrate the holidays just like my fam bam.

Last year we drove alllll the way up to Petaluma, but this time around we decided to head south to Half Moon Bay. Some friends met us at Bob’s Pumpkin Farm – right on the coast! The cool thing about Bob’s was not only was it a pumpkin patch, but it’s also a farm with fresh fruits and veggies. Oh and some cute animals too!

The fruits and veggies were F-R-E-S-H. Some of our friends actually ended up doing their grocery shopping while we were there. I was totally cracking up as they crammed veggies into their bags and tossed them into their car before heading out into the fields to pick a pumpkin. But hey – why not kill two birds with one stone?

Bob’s has sprawling fields with hundreds of pumpkins. I’m pretty particular about the shape of pumpkin I like. I love the fat, perfectly round ones. Or I like the super short and squatty ones. Everyone has their personal preference so a big field is totally ideal.

Have you picked your pumpkin yet?
