Affordable Beauty: My Top Elf Cosmetics Picks!

This post has got me alllll kinds of excited today you guys. Numero uno: we're talking about makeup. That's a topic I can always get on board with. Secondly: we're talking about a budget brand. Based on my intense love of shopping pre loved and sales in general - I'm all about saving moola. And finally...

You guys totally contributed to this post! I had posted on my Instagram Stories that I was writing all about my top Elf picks and you guys hit me with a ton of DMs telling me all your fave items, too! I included a little slider down at the bottom filled with not only items I love - but items you guys recommended.

I'm so into this little Bagel Babe community we've got going. I'm always in need of new product recommendations.

So down to business. For those of you less familiar, Elf Cosmetics (which stands for "eyes lips face") is a budget beauty brand sold both online and in stores like Target. The word "budget" isn't always the sexiest, but honestly Elf has managed to churn out some really amazing products at drugstore prices.

Ya feel.

That being said - their product line can be super overwhelming. Elf has tons of products and while I'm the biggest fan of the brand, like any beauty brand, not all products are winners. But trust me - there are some serious GEMS of products.

So I want to save you the trial and error - I've done a round up of all the best Elf Cosmetics products down below.

Elf Poreless Face Primer

The reason I love this primer is because it does exactly what it says it will do - fills in pores and creates a smooth canvas for makeup application. Not sure this adds any staying power throughout the day, but I love the smooth finish!

Elf Flawless Finish Foundation

This foundation was definitely my biggest surprise. I fully expected a $6 foundation to not meet expectations...but it's such an amazing product. This foundation is medium, buildable coverage. It's smooth, hydrating, and a great middle of the road finish (not too matte, not too glowing). It also smells amazing!

Elf Prime & Stay Finishing Powder

$2 for a finishing powder that doesn't leave you looking dusty? Down.

Elf Bonzer

I'm so blown away that a $2 bronzer can give me the same glow as a $30 bronzer. I love to use this product with the Elf Stipple Brush!

Elf Baked Blush and Baked Highlighter

I'll keep it real - I'm not a fan of Elf's baked eyeshadows. But I'm obsessed with their baked blushes and highlighters. I love the soft subtle color and that, unlike many baked products, they aren't powdery

Elf Beautifully Bare Lightweight Concealer Stick

This nifty stick concealer is super convenient and not drying on the under eyes. I love that it brightens up my dark circles and doesn't cake throughout the day.

Elf Moisturizing Lipstick

I'll keep it real -  I suck at wearing lipstick. I always touch my lips, snack, or end up wiping it off. But this lipstick is so comfortable to wear that I barely feel the need to touch my lips. Plus it's super pigmented and only $3!

Elf Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara

I'm definitely a fan of the boojie mascaras (I love a good Dior or YSL). I was super surprised I was into this mascara. It's lengthening and it doesn't run throughout the day.

Elf Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths

I really try not to use makeup wipes because I'm convinced they can't possibly get all my makeup off. That being said, I can't deny they're super handy when you're in a pinch. These ones from Elf are a great more affordable substitute for more expensive wipes from brands like Neutrogena.

Large Brush Holder

I have so many makeup brushes and I spent years trying to find the right organization system for them. I saw that Elf makes a sleek looking brush holder and went bananas. I had to have it. You can see it peeking in on some of these photos! My brushes are now super organized and it only cost $15.
