I Went to the Glossier Pop Up in San Francisco…

As a San Franciscan and a Glossier addict I went bonkers when Glossier announced their San Francisco pop up

Like, bonkers.

My love for Glossier runs deep. In fact, I own almost every product in their entire product line.

I know, I have a serious issue.

Obviously I high tailed it over to the Glossier San Francisco pop up literally the second day it was open. Because, ya know - I COULDN'T WAIT.

Whether you're here in SF wanting to swing by or you're a Glossier fan admiring from afar, let me give you the full tour and run down on the Glossier San Francisco pop up before you brave the fog (and the inevitable line).

The Glossier San Francisco pop up is being hosted at Rhea's Cafe. Well known for the delicious food, Rhea's was a unique, but sensical choice.

I mean, just look at the outside of the building. PINK. Talk about on brand for Glossier (the brand build on millennial pink).

Rhea's is admittedly off the beaten path a bit. Located deep in the heart of the SOMA district (stands for "South of Market" Street), I would recommend driving or taking a Lyft to Rhea's. Public transit and walking makes little sense considering this hot spot is outside of the city's center.

Upon your arrival, expect a line. It's Glossier. It happens.

My friends and I hopped in line and actually made it inside in less than ten minutes. I can't swear this is the norm, but I did feel the line was moving fairly quickly in general.

The inside of Rhea's has been entirely transformed. You'll find your standard cafe tables - and a packed menu filled with delicious food options.

But you'll also find the Glossier showroom taking over the majority of floor space. And I'm talking the entire showroom.

I stopped by the Glossier showroom in New York when I was in town last year for NYFW. The experience at the San Francisco pop up is very much the same. Guests peruse the products, play with the testers, and speak to a member of the "G-Team" to place an order. Your bag of goodies is then prepped in the back room and brought out to the front.

From Cloud Paint to Boy Brow, you can play with everything Glossier makes right at the San Francisco pop up. Including Solution - which is currently sold out online! Yes - I picked up a bottle.

I left the Glossier pop up, pink bag in hand. They spelled my name wrong, but I forgive them. My bag was filled with too many goodies to care (I picked up spares of Solution, Milky Jelly Cleanser, Boy Brow, plus my NEWNESS - Glossier You!).

All in all, I thought the Glossier San Francisco pop up was an awesome experience - especially as a big fan of the brand. I love having a piece of Glossier in my city and hope they set up shop permanently (can you imagine all the money I'd blow).

That being said - prepare for lines especially if you wish to eat. I would recommend paying a visit on more "off" hours (avoid weekends like the plague).

The Glossier San Francisco pop up will be in town until April 15! Catch it while you can.
